Just hours after being indicted with 34 felony charges, Trump was back at Mar-a-Lago ranting at the judge:
Trump posted to his Truth Social app, saying in all caps : “THE HIGHLY PARTISAN JUDGE & HIS FAMILY ARE WELL KNOWN TRUMP HATERS.”
And at his speech at his Florida home, he screamed some more:
“This is where we are right now. I have a Trump-hating judge, with a Trump-hating wife and family, whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris and now receives money from the Biden-Harris campaign.”
Haberman — the New York Times political correspondent who has covered Trump’s inner circle for years —said she thinks she knows Trump’s strategy here.
I think he is trying to get the judge to recuse himself,” Haberman said Wednesday. “I think that is part of what Trump’s game here.”
