We’re not one of those people who will rush to buy something just because some celebrity raves about it on social media; after all, those so-called influencers are paid to shrill for it.
So when famous chef Gordon Ramsay swore by this new line of cookware called HexClad, saying it’s what he actually uses at home and at his (many) restaurants, we weren’t sold.
But when we got the 12″ HexClad pan ($179) to try, we were quickly impressed. For us, the biggest selling point was the fact that scrambled eggs didn’t stick. For our husband, who is quite the cook and much harder to impress, tried it out, he soon declared it his favorite pan (and he owns top-notch cookware such as Le Creuset and All-Clad).

The brand’s signature hybrid technology combines the best of stainless steel and nonstick surfaces, creating pans that sear like professional steel while still being non-stick.
The laser-etched hexagon pattern isn’t just eye-catching—it’s functional, offering durability and consistent heat distribution that home cooks like my hubby can feel from the first use.

Part of HexClad’s appeal is its versatility. The cookware is compatible with all cooktops, including induction, and is oven-safe, making it easy to move from stovetop to oven without switching pans.
Cleanup is refreshingly simple, with many pieces even dishwasher-safe, though we prefer to hand-wash to preserve the pans.
You can even use metal utensils, easing one of the biggest anxieties nonstick skeptics tend to have.

Maybe Gordon Ramsay really does use HexClad at home.
