“The Cosby Show” star Malcolm-Jamal Warner has died at age 54, drowning in Costa Rico while on a family vacation.

 

 

Tragically, the Costa Rican National Police reported that Warner drowned near Cocles, a beach in Limon, Costa Rica. They claimed he was caught by a high current in the water and was found Sunday afternoon.

 

 

From 2018 to 2023, Warner played Dr. AJ Austin on “The Resident.” He directed an episode of the Fox medical show.
