Saying his ‘wing is feeling a little sore,’ Sesame Street’s Big Bird tweeted his excitement at getting vaccinated, writing that ‘ it’ll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy.’
Even President Biden congratulated Big Bird for receiving his shot:
‘Good on ya, @BigBird,’ Biden tweeted Sunday night. ‘Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep your whole neighborhood safe.’
This isn’t the first time the beloved yellow bird has helped little children understand the value of getting vaccinated; in the 1970s Big Bird encouraged youngsters to get vaccinated.
What a good birdie!
