On Monday, Trump rejected a proposed framework aimed at cooling tensions around the ongoing conflict, dismissing it as “not good enough” and signaling he is prepared to escalate if his demands are not met.

Speaking to reporters, Trump indicated the offer on the table failed to meet key U.S. conditions, though he did not specify which elements were lacking. Instead, he warned that if negotiations stall, the United States could pursue what he described as the “worst option,” raising fears of a dramatic military escalation.

In his usual blunt language, Trump threatened that adversaries could be “bombed to hell” if a more favorable agreement is not reached soon, a remark only likely to heighten already fragile diplomatic efforts and unsettle international allies.
In a CNN poll, just one-third of the public believes Trump has a clear plan to handle the situation in Iran. Americans’ already broad disapproval of US military action in Iran has grown since the start of the war, the poll found. Just 34% of Americans now say they approve at least somewhat of the US decision to take military action in Iran.

Trump’s Easter message.
