President Donald Trump took to social media on Juneteenth, a federal holiday, to criticize the number of “non-working holidays” in the United States. He didn’t acknowledge the historic occasion but complained loudly on social media about  “too many non-working holidays” and said it is “costing our Country $BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to keep all of these businesses closed.”

He had more to say about Juneteenth when he was campaigning to be President, and trying to woo black voters, promising them that he would establish  Juneteenth as a federal holiday.
