Bernie Sanders, who’s taking another run at the Presidency, has confirmed that he will sign a pledge saying he will run as a Democrat.
Previously, Sanders had run as an ‘independent democratic socialist ‘which only split the votes in the last election and helped Trump win
Under bylaws agreed on last August by the Dems, all candidates will be required ‘to affirm in writing’ that they ‘are a member of the Democratic party,’ will accept the Democratic nomination’ and ‘will run and serve as a member of the Democratic Party.’
