Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has fought hard not to testify — in any case regarding Trump and election meddling — but now a Judge has shot down his lawyer’s objections.

When Meadow’s lawyers claimed that it was a partisan judgment, the Judge answered tersely:

“This is not a political hearing,” Judge Miller told Meadow’s lawyer Bannister, calling the line of inquiry “far afield” from the dispute before the South Carolina court.

Meadow’s is linked to the now infamous call to Georgia’s Raffenspergerand to a December 2020 White House meeting about election fraud claims that were promoted by Meadows.

They also want him to testify about the emails Meadows sent to Justice Department officials about unsubstantiated fraud allegations.
