Tuesday Procter & Gamble announced a recall of more than 30 aerosol spray hair care products, including many dry shampoos and dry conditioners, warning that the products could contain a cancer-causing agent known as benzene.

While it’s highly unlikely that any of the products could cause high enough levels of Benzene, P&G said it was moving forward with the recall out of “an abundance of caution.”
Retailers are pulling the products from shelves and the company is offering full refunds. Customers can fill out an online form or contact a hotline at 1-888-674-36319 Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm ET.
