Here’s how it started.

On Thursday, Republican Ted Cruz had tweeted at AOC that he agreed with her that Congress should investigate Robinhood’s decision to block GameStop trades. (That’s another, complicated story.)

She responded angrily;

As you remember, Cruz Cruz was one of the ringleaders of the so-called ‘treason caucus’ who challenged the  Electoral College votes in key swing states, supporting Trump’s false claim of voter fraud.

Ted Cruz has conveniently forgotten that he is responsible for at least one of the pro-Trump rioters at the Capitol tweeting ‘assassinate AOC’ and the Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said she didn’t know if  she was ‘going to make it to the end of that day alive.’

(Garret Miller of Texas is in jail, charged with five criminal charges stemming from the Capitol insurrection, including trespassing offenses and making death threats.)
