Beauty reviewers get so much product ( we know, you’re thinking, ‘Oh yeah, that must be tough!’ ) so when the boxes pile up, we sometimes rope our girlfriends into trying stuff.

One of our friends is a fiend for foundation, another is all about the eyes, and two are big lipsticks fans.

So we asked our discerning lippie fan to try the Smith & Cult new lip lacquers.

Sure, the colors are perfectly pigmented, and come in glorious shades but how did they test?

“I love love love it! Silky not sticky. No flavor is a plus. The color is very natural looking which I love!”

Our reviewer also said that it doesn’t dry out her lips at all (that would be the natural coconut essence in every tube.)

Like the rest of the line, Smith & Cult give the colors fun names, such as ‘The Queen is Dead ‘ (glossy red) and ‘Now Kiss’ ( a Rose nude.) $22 at Smith & Cult.
