Due to the discovery of highly contagious coronavirus variants, health experts now recommend ‘double masking.’

Researchers have found that doubling up on masks can ‘increase efficacy from 50 percent to 75 percent.’

And Dr. Fauci, appeared on the ‘Today Show’ this week wearing a blue surgical mask under a fabric one,  saying two layers “just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective.”

One way to test the effectiveness of your current mask is to hold it up to the light. If you can see the light through it, it’s probably too thin.

You can also try using a lighter or candle. If you can blow out the flame, your mask is not effective.

Experts say the best mask combination is a surgical mask under a fabric mask.
