After much rancorous debate, President Trump is now set to meet Queen Elizabeth when he makes his state visit July 12-14.
While it has been downgraded from a full state visit — which includes a ceremony at Buckingham Palace and a military welcome — Trump will still meet with Her Majesty at Windsor Castle.
Many had protested against his visit and indeed, a petition saying he shouldn’t be afforded the privilege of a full state visit gained millions of signatures.
Huge protests are expected for his visit.
