In a radio interview, star George Clooney pours cold water on the rumor that he might be the next Bond, saying he felt it was ‘a little late for that’ and that he would tell them to ‘go hire someone else!’
In fact, he thinks he has the perfect person to play 007 – actor Idris Elba. Explaining his choice, Clooney added:
‘First of all because, I’ll be 60 this year so it’s a little late for the Bond thing. Second of all, Bond should be a Brit don’t you think? I mean properly. It just feels wrong’.
Idris ‘should be Bond’ Clooney continued ‘I think he’d do a great job of it’.
Sadly, Daniel Craig retires his gun and martini’s after ‘No Time To Die.’
