At his national address Thursday, President Biden promised that there will be enough vaccines — including boosters — for everyone in the U.S. Biden said the federal government has bought enough third doses to give to every vaccinated resident and that they will be available for free.

‘My first responsibility as president is to protect the American people and make sure we have enough vaccine for every American – including enough boosters for every American – who is approved to get one,’ Biden said.

He did make the point that when to authorize the boosters will be the responsibility of the CDC and the FDA after both agencies had complained about being left out of the decision process.
