On Sunday, October 18th 2020, The James Beard Foundation is hosting a national virtual dining event for Taste of America: Los Angeles to celebrate and support local restaurants in the community.

For this event, JBF will spotlight Guelaguetza, a historic Mexican restaurant founded by husband and wife Fernando Lopez and Maria Monterrubio in 1994. The event will showcase the best of Oaxacan ingredients and family recipes.

Starting at 5:00PM for the price of $150, participants will enjoy a three-course meal prepared by JBF Award winners, Bricia Lopez and Edgar Santiago. In addition, the Taste America meal kit will include dough wine and Rabbit Hole whiskey, alongside access to cooking demos and the national broadcast lineup for the James Beard Foundation.
