I received the Physicians Formula featuring their Nude Eyeshadow Palette, two waterproof eyeliners, and mascara for review. Overall, I really enjoyed these products, and I can definitely see myself using them a lot. ($13.49 on Amazon.)
First, the eyeshadow palette has the cutest packaging! It is pink with a lacy design, which I think is absolutely adorable. It also closes shut with magnets, and the lid stays open once you open it, which makes it easier to use while doing your makeup. The eyeshadow colors range from light to dark, so you can create different looks depending on the occasion, whether you want something more natural for everyday wear or a darker look for going out. It also comes with a small angled brush, which makes applying the eyeshadow easier and gives you more control.
The other thing I love is that Physicians Formula products are specifically formulated to be hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin and eyes, and are recommended by ophthalmologists.
Next are the two waterproof eyeliners. One is a pure black shade, while the other is black with bronze sparkles, which is a really pretty option when you want to add something extra to your makeup. Both have a pen-style tip that makes application easier and helps you create more precise lines. Although I wouldn’t say they are completely smudge-proof, the color and lines stay on your face for a long time. They are also truly waterproof because I actually found them pretty difficult to take off! I would definitely recommend using a good makeup remover when removing them, but I love how long-lasting they are.
My favorite product out of the entire package was definitely the mascara! When I paired the Physicians Formula non-waterproof mascara with my Tweezerman Pro Eyelash Curler, my lashes looked beautiful. Someone even asked me if I was wearing lash clusters! That’s how good the lift and length were.
One thing that makes this mascara different is that it has two ends. The first side has a clear, pinkish-colored formula that you apply to your lashes first. This helps lengthen them before you go in with the second side, which has the black mascara. The black formula adds even more length and fullness while giving your lashes a darker, more defined look. I loved how these two steps worked together because my lashes looked longer, fuller, and more lifted without needing lash clusters. Out of all the products, this is definitely the one I was most impressed with!
I love how versatile the eyeshadow palette is, how long-lasting the eyeliners are, and especially how beautiful the mascara made my lashes look.
