2017, file photo, military units participate in the inaugural parade from the Capitol to the White House in Washington, Friday, Jan. 20, 2017.

After the Pentagon said the cost of Trump’s parade ratcheted up to $92 million, they said they would need to move back the date to at least 2019.

A disgruntled Trump tweeted that it’s was his decision and not the Pentagon’s to scrap the parade and blamed the Mayor of D.C. for ‘inflating’ the cost.

Naturally, the Mayor of D.C., Muriel Bowser, a Democrat hit back in a tweet that said: ‘Yup, I’m Muriel Bowser, mayor of Washington DC, the local politician who finally got thru to the reality star in the White House with the realities ($21.6M) of parades/events/demonstrations in Trump America (sad).’

Instead, Trump said he will travel to France for Emmanuel Macron’s event on November 11 commemorating the centennial of the WWI armistice instead.
