Former NFL big-shot Peyton Manning stopped by SNL’s ‘Weekend Update,’ supposedly to discuss the NFL playoffs and the Tom Brady retirement rumors…but ended up raving about the Netflix show ‘Emily In Paris’ instead.
While news anchor Jost asked Manning his thoughts were on the recent rumors that Tom Brady may be retiring, the Hall of Fame quarterback replied enthusiastically:
“Yeah, I’m not sure it’s true. I think it’s probably just speculation. But if it were me, I probably would retire, too, if it gave me more time to watch Emily in Paris,” said Manning. “I really think for Tom right now, it’s just a tough decision between balancing his career and relationships, sort of like Emily.”
