Full disclosure: We love our snacks, cakes especially. And a crunchy chocolate chip or chewy Oatmeal raisin cookie.
But if we’re gonna snack it has to be worth the calories. Yes, we’re a bit of a snack snob.
So when Bell’s Cookie Co. offered to ship us a box — we’re in Cali. and the bakery is based in Seattle — of course, we said ‘YES, thanks!’
Already voted ‘best in State,’ the family-owned bakery now delivers nationwide, with the cookies individually wrapped in a box so they don’t crumble.
With twelve traditional and not so-traditional flavors it was hard to choose so we opted for a box of eight so we could try a few. ($28.)
Red Velvet – White Chocolate, Dark chocolate & Marshmallows.
It was hard to pick a favorite and even the mundane chocolate chip was transformed into a bite of heaven with chunks of chocolate sprinkled with Maldon Salt. And the ‘confetti’ cookie was as tasty as it was pretty and soooo moist.
But we’d have to say the Red Velvet was our favorite. Just the right amount of white and dark chocolate sweetness and the perfect texture.
We’d share but we ate them all.
