The 2025 Grammy nominations, announced on November 8, reveal a competitive lineup featuring some of music’s biggest stars. Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, and Billie Eilish are among those recognized in major categories, reflecting the broad range of popular music from this past year. In the coveted “Song of the Year” category, notable nominees include Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” Taylor Swift’s collaboration with Post Malone on “Fortnight,” and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather,” demonstrating the strong impact of these artists on both charts and fans alike.

All in all, Beyonce was the most nominated artist this year, grabbing 11 nominations in total. That makes her the most nominated artist in Grammy history.

Album of the Year nominations continue to showcase industry favorites. Taylor Swift is recognized for The Tortured Poets Department, while Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter and Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed work are also in contention. Newer artists are making a strong impression as well; Chappell Roan received her first Grammy nomination for The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess in the Best Pop Vocal Album category, underlining her recent rise in the pop music landscape.

Beyond pop and rap, the Grammys also honor excellence across genres. SZA leads R&B categories with her track “Saturn,” which is nominated for both Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. In Latin music, Bad Bunny’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana and Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran are vying for top awards in the urban and pop Latin categories, respectively, marking another big year for Latin representation in the Grammys.

The ceremony will air on February 2, 2025, from Los Angeles.
