However, Betty Crocker just launched three limited-edition $89 cake-slice handbags inspired by its Yellow Cake, Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake, and Strawberry Cake mixes. (It’s to celebrate their newly redesigned packaging.)
In a statement, the company wrote :
“Crafted from premium vegan leather, the handbags all feature thoughtful details that bring Betty’s refreshed look to life, including a colorful label that matches its corresponding cake mix packaging and Betty’s signature Red Spoon as a zipper pull signed ‘xo, Betty,’” the brand says. “Each bag comes with interchangeable accessories that mimic classic cake decorations.”
Not surprisingly, the sweet drop has already sold out, with a second scheduled for September 10 at 9 a.m. ET.
Called appropriately The Betty Ate Collection, each handbag shaped like generous slices of cake will put you back $ 89.
And yes, the zipper pull is shaped like a red spoon.
