President Volodymyr Zelensky and other Ukrainian officials cast doubt on Russia’s promise to withdraw troops near the capital of Kyiv in pursuit of peace, and as it turned out, they were right. Ukrainian President  Zelenskyy added that  Russian forces moving away from Kyiv was a result of “our defenders’ work” and was not a withdrawal.
