A United Airlines pilot discovered just before take-off that the young woman who donated bone marrow to him was on board his flight.
In a video posted by a passenger, the pilot walks down the aisle to hug her as the plane cheered.
“This is the young lady that saved my life,” he told the passengers.
He added that the woman was a better match than his own brother, as passengers seated around the pair cheered over the heartwarming interaction.
