Trump called the latest inflation numbers “great,” insisting prices will “come down like a rock” once the war with Iran ends.
He also claimed for the first time that U.S. forces are secretly moving millions of barrels of oil nightly through the Strait of Hormuz.
On Truth Social, he boasted:
“More than 100 MILLION Barrels of Oil” and “more than 200 Commercial Ships” have successfully traveled through the strait.
“Last month, I directed our Great U.S. Military to execute a secret mission to support Oil Tankers and other Commercial Ships through the Strait of Hormuz.”
