Trump toured the burnt out areas torched by the Camp and Woolsey fires, which have killed more than 70 people and left 1,200 others unaccounted for, destroyed more than 12,700 structures and completely decimated the town of Paradise in the Sierra Nevada foothills.

“Hopefully, this will be the last of these, because it was a really, really bad one,” Trump said. “People have to see this to really understand it. As big as they look on the tube, you don’t see what’s going on until you come here.”

Fortunately, Trump did not repeat the inflammatory comments he made last week where he blamed the fire disasters on California’s fire and forest management. We can imagine there are a number of firefighters who might take issue with that.
