Despite continuing to downplay the Coronavirus, President Trump canceled a trip today to the CDC in Atlanta because there was concern that someone there might be infected.

‘No, no, no. They had one person who was potentially infected and speaking of that, I’d like to go so you guys are trying to work that out,’ Trump told reporters as he signed an $8.3 billion bill to combat the outbreak.

Trump did not say who convinced him to cancel the trip. It could have medical personnel, Secret Service or the CDC headquarters.

The Democrats and the Republicans negotiated an increased figure from the $2.5 B that the White House had earlier suggested, though many think the move today is too little and too late.
