Super Bowl 55 didn’t deliver much of a game on the field so the competition came down to the best ads. Companies paid $5.5 million for 30-second commercials and there was fierce competition for the award for the best spot.

Bruce Springsteen, who famously has never done an ad before, is #1 in our book for his ad for Jeep called ‘The Middle.’ (Editorial note: that’s actually Bruce’s own 1980 Jeep he drives in the commercial.)

Some of our favorites included ‘ScissorHandsFree’ and “No Way Norway”, “Drake from State Farm”, and the inspiring Toyota  spot featuring Paralympic swimmer Jessica Long, documenting her journey from an orphan in Siberia to Paralympian, ending with the line, ‘We believe there is hope and strength in all of us.’ Perfect for these COVID times.
