In a shocking decision, the Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld President Trump’s travel ban in a  5-4 vote, ruling along partisan lines. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the conservative majority.

Naturally, the President then tweeted, this is  “a tremendous victory for the American People and the Constitution” and said he felt vindicated.

Meanwhile, The American Civil Liberties Union also strongly condemned the court’s ruling, writing on Twitter that “this is not the first time the Court has been wrong or has allowed official racism and xenophobia to continue rather than standing up to it.”
