We’ve been a fan of the Shiseido sunscreen for ages and now it’s NEW! IMPROVED! (We always wanted to say that.)

Their Invisible Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen is now reef-safe, free of oxybenzone and octinoxate which isn’t good for fish, reefs, or us for that matter. It’s still clear, soaks into the skin and protects using something called ‘WetForce’ technology that keeps you from burning even in water, heat and sweat.

Reapply every 2 hours, or after 80 minutes of swimming of sweating, and immediately after toweling dry of course. Remember to SHAKE before applying.  $49. at Shiseido and everywhere quality sunscreen is sold.

And we loved that at the end of the day it didn’t make our skin break out!

Also new is the handy, Clear Stick UV Protector that even works UNDER makeup! Featuring the same WetForce technology, it provides a protective veil that lasts for hours (believe me, we tested it!) At $28. we have two — one in our beach bag and one for our purse so we’ve never caught unprotected in the sun again.

Not that any of us are traveling to Hawaii or Australia anytime soon, but this is approved sunscreen.
