The noms for the MTV Movie and TV Awards were announced and this time a bevy of UK stars will compete for the awards May 16th.

Leading the English contingent with three nominations, Netflix’s Bridgerton has been nominated for BEST Show and the critical award…Best Kiss. That would be the smooch between Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor which was seen by an average of 82 million.

The dashing Regé-Jean Page was also nominated for Breakthrough Performance.

Sadly, the popular Duke of Hastings is not returning for the new season.

 

 

Continuing the British take-over, Emma Corrin who played Diana, Princess of Wales in the fourth season of royal drama The Crown, was singled out for  Best Performance in a Show.

 

 

She will compete alongside another Brit, Michaela Cole, with the talented actress and writer named in the same category for her starring role in self-written BBC show ‘I May Destroy You.’

Fans can vote for their favorites online at Vote.MTV.com, which is open now until April 30th. Shooting in L.A., the rest of the details are under wraps, though the producers have said they’ll have ‘tons’ of performances and presenters.
