If you missed last nights no-host Emmy here’s your recap so you can keep up with the water-cooler conversations today. All you need to know:

‘Fleabag’ won BIG, winning for best comedy, best directing and best writing for a comedy series. That meant Phoebe Waller-Bridge (‘Fleabag’) was onstage more than anyone else since she also won for lead comedy actress — over longtime favorite Julia Louis-Dreyfus (‘Veep’) who was favored to win.

Other surprises: Jodie Comer won over Sandra Oh for ‘Killing Eve,’ Jharrel Jerome, who played the role of real-life Korey Wise in both parts of “When They See Us,” took home an Emmy for his passionate performance; “Schitt’s Creek” left empty-handed; writer Jesse Armstrong from “Succession” got a trophy for drama writing over the series finale of “Game of Thrones,” as well as  “The Handmaid’s Tale” and fourth-season finale of “Better Call Saul.’

As expected, ‘Game of Thrones’ won the big one — Best Drama Series.

As for ratings, it looks like the award show hit an all-time low. Maybe it’s time to retire the gratuitous awards shows?
