After 12 years with Mercedes, World Champion Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton will drive a Ferrari this season. To celebrate, the driver worked with Paramount to recreate a scene from one of his favorite films, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Hamilton said that he wanted to “pay homage to the iconic film and to celebrate my first season with Ferrari”  and that it took “a lot of cutting-edge tech, production, and planning.”

In the scene, Hamilton plays the car garage attendant who ‘steals’ the Ferrari that Ferris (Matthew Broderick) and Cameron (Alan Ruck) have just dropped off.

Hamilton also gave a “shout out” to “legendary” Edward Notron for “coming along for the ride.”
