K9 JETS offers round-trip flights from New Jersey and Los Angeles for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s for $6,650 (one-way). To date, they’ve flown over 200 flights and over 2,000 pets. (Expensive but still cheaper than a chartered flight.)
Dogs can sit by your side in the cabin, on your lap or, while cats must be in their carriers.
Currently, they offer seven different international destinations – LA direct to London and New Jersey to Dublin, Dubai, Frankfurt, Lisbon, London, Milan, and Paris.
Before departure, K9 JETS passengers will find grassy areas adjacent to all private terminals for dogs to use. During the flight, an attendant is available to look after human and canine needs.
Upon arrival at the destination, an airline service team will come onto the plane to scan your dog’s microchip and cross-reference the precleared paperwork. (They can also help you get all the necessary clearance, depending on your destination. )
Naturally, there are competitors in the space, such as Bark Air and VistaPet , but K9 has been doing this for years, with positive reviews from happy customers (and their pets.)
