Three hours into the Kavanaugh hearings, a ‘terrified’ Christine Ford has presented credible and believable testimony.

As New York Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand put it during the break:

“I don’t know how they could hear her testimony and watch her testify so authentically and so honestly from the heart and not believe her — and still vote for Brett Kavanaugh. I just don’t know how they could do it.”
Diane Feinstein, who you remember originally received the anonymous allegation from Dr. Ford, wisely took the opportunity to bring up the wider perspective, saying :

How women are treated in the United States with this kind of concern is really wanting a lot of reform.’

‘The entire country is watching how we handle these allegations.’ she said

‘This is not a trial of Dr. Ford. It’s a job interview of Brett Kavanaugh,’ she said. ‘Is Brett Kavanaugh who we want in the most prestigious court in the country. Is he the best we can do?’ Feinstein asked.

Stay tuned.
