In case you missed it, the first Democratic debate in Miami last night was predictably fiery, with Senator Warren holding her own.

2020 presidential candidates Bill de Blasio, Tim Ryan, Julian Castro, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Beto O’Rourke, Amy Klobuchar, Tulsi Gabbard, Jay Inslee and John Delaney squared off on the economy and argued passionately about immigration with three of the candidates trying to outdo each other by answering in Spanish. And those annoying technical glitches during the NBC live coverage? It got so bad that the network had to go to early commercial breaks — in the middle of the action. Hopefully, that will be fixed for tonight’s debate. The second debate — with Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and seven others — starts tonight at 9 ET.
