Blame it on climate change.

A marine heat wave in the Mediterranean Sea has created a dangerous heat dome over most of Europe.

When temperatures reached 105 degrees Fahrenheit, the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris was closed to visitors for the next two days.

Due to the extreme heat, around 1,350 French schools were partially or fully shut on Tuesday.

Train services between Paris and several cities, including Toulouse and Limousin, were also disrupted.

Temperatures have broken records in Spain and Portugal as swaths of Europe brace for more records to fall through Wednesday as the heatwave intensifies.
