Another one bites the dust: President Donald Trump Tweeted Tuesday that he has fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and will nominate CIA Director Mike Pompeo to succeed him.

But the outgoing Secretary of State revealed that President Donald Trump had not told him he was out of a job until three hours after publicly firing him in a tweet, and pointedly did not thank Trump in his statement. There was a three hour lag between when Tillerson found out he was fired via a Tweet and a call from Trump.

The two have sparred for months and many saw this coming.

Trump said he respected Tillerson’s “intellect” and said he “got along well with Rex,’ adding
“I think Rex will be much happier now.’
At last count, that’s 15 people who have either been fired or resigned from White House jobs.
