Tucker Carlson, once one of Trump’s biggest cheerleaders, has apologized for or endorsing Trump.

The former Fox News host made his mea culpa on his podcast, The Tucker Carlson Show.

‘It’s not enough to say, “Well I changed my mind,” or like, “Oh this is bad, I’m out.” It’s like in very small ways, but in real ways, you and me and millions of people like us are the reason this is happening right now,’ he added.

The right-wing commentator continued, ‘So I do think it’s like a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. You know, we’ll be tormented by it for a long time.

‘I will be, and I want to say I’m sorry for misleading people, and it was not intentional. That’s all I’ll say.’

Tucker went as far as to warn that Trump might be the ‘antichrist,’ after Trump posted an image of himself as Jesus on social media.

Suggesting that Trump matches the scripture’s description of this entity — as a ‘man who will oppose and exalt himself over everything that is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple proclaiming himself to be God’ — Tucker urged the faithful to give up Trump.

‘He will pose as God,’ Carlson continued. ‘He will mock other Gods, and put himself in their place.’

Carlson’s apology comes after a number of right-wing commentators — including Megyn Kelly, Alex Jones and Candace Owens — criticized Trump for the Iran war.

For his part, Trump had vicious things to say about Carlson, calling him a ‘low-IQ’ person.

‘I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years,’ Trump wrote. ‘Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs.

‘They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too! … They’ve all been thrown off Television… they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS.’
