In a short video, Trump’s plan for his ‘Presidential Library’ in Miami shows a towering 50-storey structure decked in gold (of course), a giant statue of him, and the $400m Boeing “flying palace” gifted to him by Qatar, in the enormous lobby. You have to look at the fine print to see that it will also double as a Trump hotel.
The colossal tower may climb as high as 47 stories (Trump being the nation’s 47th president). The garish building will feature a red‑white‑and‑blue spire and the word “TRUMP” emblazoned across the upper floors, while the exterior is accented with an American flag, palm trees, reflective pools and an enormous gilded entrance. Again, in gold.
Outspoken California Governor Gavin Newsom blasted Trump on X.
“All this family does is grift off the government, “Has any family relied more on the government than the Trumps?”
Meanwhile, the video of the planned presidential library did not include any books or archives, as with most presidential libraries.
