Yes, this is a ‘reboot’ of the popular ‘Naked Gun’ movies. This time, Liam Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Leslie Nielsen’s Naked Gun/Police Squad! character, who is following in his father’s footsteps. Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser (as the son of George Kennedy’s Captain Ed Hocken from The Naked Gun), CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, and Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston round out the rest of the cast.
Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy) produces. No surprise there.
