Actress Shelley Duvall died on Thursday, July 11, at her home in Blanco, Texas, reportedly from complications from diabetes.

Her longtime partner, Dan Gilroy, announced the news. She was 75 years old.

Famous for her role in the horror film ‘The Shining’ alongside Jack Nicholson, she later retired from acting and moved to Texas in 2002.

However, just recently, she accepted a part in the horror film, ‘The Forest Hills.’
