As the new variant continues to ravage the US, Dr. Fauci warns that it’s going to get worse before it gets better and he recommends canceling those wild New Year’s Eve parties.
‘It’s going to get worse before it gets better. That’s for sure,’ he said.
‘We don’t expect things are going to turn around in a few days to a week. It likely will take much longer than that. But that’s unpredictable.’
To give you an idea:
- Cases in the US have jumped by 70% in the past two weeks alone.
- Dr. Fauci warns that we could soon hit 500,000 new cases EVERY DAY.
Fauci also recommended that the US start requiring vaccination proof to fly domestically.
“When you make vaccination a requirement, that’s another incentive to get more people vaccinated,” Dr. Fauci said on MSNBC on Monday. “If you want to do that with domestic flights, I think that’s something that seriously should be considered.”
