Today, a large biotech company named Moderna has shown promising results from a Coronavirus vaccine they are developing. Tested on actual humans, they injected low doses of the virus into patients to trigger antibodies to fight the COVID-19, building up some immunity to the deadly disease. As encouraging as this is, a large clinical trial is still needed, which will launch in July.
IF this vaccine works, it might be an effective preventative measure or one in an arsenal of vaccines.
