Anthony Bourdain is dead at 61. The talented chef wrote bestsellers and traveled the world with his popular TV show ‘Parts Unknown, ‘ committed suicide in France where he was working on a new episode of his show.

CNN confirmed Bourdain’s death on Friday and said the cause of death was suicide.

His close friend Eric Ripert, the French chef, found Bourdain unresponsive in his hotel room Friday morning.
Bourdain leaves behind an 11-year-old daughter, Ariane, from his second marriage to MMA fighter Ottavia Busia.
