In another grim milestone, COVID deaths are numbering 1,500 deaths per day in the US. The last time that number was so high was last March when vaccines were not widely available. Spurred by the Delta Variant, the unvaccinated are sitting ducks.

Southern states are the hardest hit, with Florida in first (last?) place for most deaths.

The state is recording a staggering 335 deaths every day.

Many other southern states are also leading the nation in deaths due to the virus. In fact, Georgia has restored to mobile morgue units.

Hospitalizations have also doubled nationwide.

Dr. Fauci is desperately warning the nation to get vaccinated.
