After the revelation that President Donald Trump froze nearly $400 million in aid to Ukraine just days before the infamous call where he pushed the Ukraine President to dig up dirt  investigate Hunter Biden, his political rival’s son, pressure is mounting for Trump to release the transcript of the call.

Now Trump says that he’ll release the transcript to prove ‘there was no pressure’ put on the nation and that he wasn’t using the threat of withholding aid in exchange for info on Hunter and Joe Biden.

Instead, Trump told reporters that he initially withheld $390 million from Ukraine as a tactic to squeeze defense dollars out of European nations.

‘When you see the call, when you see the readout of the call, which I assume you’ll see at some point, that call was perfect. There was no pressure put on them whatsoever,’ he said of his conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He quickly added, ‘But there was pressure put on with respect to Joe Biden. That’s something they should be looking at.’

Was it quid pro quo? You need to ask?
