It was just announced that Irish singer Sinead O’Connor has died at the age of 56. No cause of death was given.
This comes just a year after her beloved son Shane, only 17, took his own life after escaping from a hospital where he was under suicide watch.
O’Connor openly detailed her struggles with mental health.
In her last Tweet, O’Connor posted a photo of Shane and said: ‘Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul.”
