After John Kelly was forced from the White House, Trump hasn’t been able to find anyone to take on the job of Chief of Staff, arguably one of the most powerful jobs in the West Wing.

Turned down by Nick Ayers, the top aide to Vice President Mike Pence and conservative Congressman Mark Meadows wags in Washington are calling it ‘Mission Impossible. ‘

‘You really do have to wonder why anybody would want to be Donald Trump’s White House chief of staff given that so far it’s been mission impossible,’ Chris Whipple, the author ‘The Gatekeepers,’ a history of White House chiefs of staff, said to Politico.

If you’re looking for a thankless job, feel free to send in your resume.
