Harvey Weinstein was just sentenced in New York to 23 years in prison for his sexual assault and rape convictions.
The 67-year-old always maintained that the sex was consensual in what became a #MeToo watershed case.
Naturally, Weinstein’s defense attorney Donna Rotunno slammed the sentence as ‘too harsh’ and said that the trial was a case of ‘total unfairness’.
It was a long time coming, but for his female victims, justice is sweet.
